The Tree is the Centerpiece of the City’s Annual “Home for the Holidays” Celebration
Tree Donated by the Onondaga County Department of Water Environment Protection
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The city of Syracuse Department of Parks, Recreation, and Youth Programs announced today that a tree has been selected for Clinton Square. This year’s tree has been donated by the Onondaga County Department of Water and Environment Protection located at 7120 Henry Clay Boulevard in Liverpool. JPW Erectors donated transportation services to the City to deliver the tree.
JPW, along with City crews, will transport the tree from Liverpool to Clinton Square on Friday, Nov. 9. The delivery will impact traffic along the following route: 7120 Henry Clay Blvd. to Electronics Parkway, to Old Liverpool Road, to Interstate 81 South exiting at 23A to Clinton Square. South Salina Street, from West Genesee Street to Washington Street, will be closed to traffic in the afternoon, while the tree makes its approach to the Square and is hoisted into place.
