DPW will follow the designated quadrant schedule for leaf collection only this fall, as published in the waste pickup brochure mailed to residents earlier this spring. Each quadrant has two separate weekends in November and December when leaves should be put out, beginning with the Northeast quadrant this Saturday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 3. The published pickup dates will allow residents to prepare for seasonal setouts, knowing when to expect DPW crews in their area.
Leaves should be placed in paper lawn or leaf bags or in neatly confined to an area away from sewer vents and not in the street. Any leaves placed in plastic bags will not be picked up. The following schedule for leaf collection will apply for each of the quadrants:
Northeast – Saturday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 3; Saturday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 1
Southeast – Saturday, Nov. 9 and Sunday, Nov. 10; Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8
Southwest – Saturday, Nov. 16 and Sunday, Nov. 17; Saturday, Dec. 14 and Sunday, Dec. 15
Northwest – Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24; Saturday, Dec. 21 and Sunday, Dec. 22
