Emergency declarations to continue in both the County and City
Onondaga County Executive J. Ryan McMahon II and Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh rescinded curfew orders early Monday afternoon in Onondaga County and the City of Syracuse. The curfews, established on Sunday in response to civil disturbances Saturday night, were in place in the County for less than 24 hours and in the City for just over 36 hours. While the curfews were ended effective immediately, the Proclamation of Emergency in Onondaga County and the State of Special Emergency in the City of Syracuse remain in effect until further notice.
