HealthWay Family of Brands has announced that they will donate two medical grade portable air purifiers to the City of Syracuse Department of Public Works (DPW).
The DPW serves as the backbone of the City of Syracuse. They are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the city’s infastructure services. This donation will serve Syracuse’s frontline essential workers. HealthWay air filtration systems are proven to capture particles up to 0.007 μm, which is smaller in size than all known ultrafine virus particles.

The DPW will use HealthWay DFS technology which removes up to 99.99% of airborne mold, bacteria and viruses from the air. One of the two donated units is now installed in an essential location within the DPW building. It will provide clean air to many workers who will then go out and serve the community at large. This solution is meant to protect both the DPW workers and the community of which they serve.
“COVID-19 has presented severe challenges to local governments, including the City of Syracuse. Always on our minds is protecting the health and well-being of our employees, especially the frontline essential workers who have helped our communities get through this pandemic,” said Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh. “We are deeply grateful to Healthway Products for donating its air purification technology to help city workers. The systems will help keep our employees and their families safe and will make it easier for the City to continue services. Healthway is leading the way in technology and in community support. We are fortunate to have this company in our region.”
HealthWay Family of Brands is honored to help Syracuse’s DPW workers breathe the cleanest air possible while indoors.
