Mayor Walsh will flip the traditional candy cane switch to light the Christmas tree at Clinton Square
The City of Syracuse, with producing partners, Cumulus Media, today announced a dedicated web site, SyracuseTreeLighting.com, for viewers to tune into for this year’s “Home for the Holidays” virtual Christmas tree lighting special. The special will include Cumulus Media on-air personalities with city co-host Maria Maldonado-Lewis. Appearances include Deputy Mayor Sharon Owens with guests Ted and Amy in the Morning from WNTQ; Rick Roberts, Afternoon Drive on 93Q; Marty and Shannon from the Morning Mess; Dixon in the afternoon drive on WAQX; and Dave Frisina, TheRebelRocks.com are also planned. The full show will also be made available through the 93Q, 95X, TheScore 1260 and TheRebelRocks.com websites from Nov. 27 to Dec. 25, and on Ted & Amy’s 2020 Virtual Christmas Spectacular on Saturday, Dec. 19.
