“The Syracuse community always comes together in time of need, and we are at one of those critical moments now. The yellow-level COVID-19 micro-cluster designation is a serious matter for the City of Syracuse. It brings with it new requirements to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Effective Wednesday in the City of Syracuse, public gatherings both indoors and outdoors are limited to a maximum of 25 people. Restaurant seating indoors and outdoors is limited to four people per table. Bars and restaurants must close at Midnight. Attendance at houses of worship is limited to 50% capacity, and there are new testing requirements for schools to continue in-person learning. These steps are needed now to avoid even stronger restrictions. More important, they are essential to protect health and save people’s lives.”
