
The City of Syracuse Department of Water will work to repair a water main on N. Geddes Street, beginning the evening of Friday, Nov. 6. Residents and businesses on N. Geddes Street between Edison and Pulaski Streets, and on Pulaski Street, between N. Geddes Street to Hiawatha Boulevard W. Boulevard are expected to experience water outages for approximately eight to ten hours starting at 8 p.m. The 600 and 700 blocks of Spencer Street will also be impacted.
Repairs are anticipated to be completed on Saturday, Nov. 7, with water services returned to normal that same day, dependent upon the weather. Residents in need of emergency water resources during the shutoff period can call 211. Detour signs will be in place to redirect traffic.
