Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project on Kirk Avenue on the City’s south side. Crews will mill (remove the top layer of existing pavement) and repave Kirk Avenue, from South Salina Street heading west to South Avenue, beginning Saturday, August 28.

Mayor Walsh announced the City will repave Kirk Avenue between South Salina Street and South Avenue. The long stretch of road on the south side includes an area along Kirk Park.

Traffic will remain open throughout the project. It is expected to be completed in about five days to seven days. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
