City urges drivers to follow “no parking” signage to avoid ticketing and towing
The City of Syracuse announced paving on two major downtown streets to begin Wednesday, Nov. 17. Weather permitting, crews working for the City will pave the following streets starting tomorrow and continuing for several days including Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting).
• Montgomery Street between Erie Boulevard East Street and East Adams Street
• East Jefferson Street between South Salina Street and Montgomery Street
Traffic will be impacted on these streets and with the intersecting side streets. The City advises drivers to use alternate routes during the project. On street parking will be prohibited on the streets named above and will be enforced, including towing. Signage will be posted.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of next week. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
