Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project starting this week on Midler Avenue in Eastwood. Crews will mill (remove the top layer of existing pavement) South Midler Avenue from James Street to Erie Boulevard East on Wednesday, August 24 before repaving it.
Traffic on the road will be reduced to one lane each way while work is being done. Work is expected to take place from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. each day. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
