In support of more federal funding for the Low Inc In support of more federal funding for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Mayor Walsh joined Senator @kirstengillibrand and Walt Dixie at @jubileehomes119 to advocate for an additional $10 million in the next coronavirus relief package. For residents struggling to make ends meet who are also spending more time at home in cold places like #Syracuse due to the pandemic, the need for added aid is essential.

“Our vulnerable older adults must be able to keep the heat on in the winter. And our hard-working neighbors trying to get back on their feet need solid ground to stand on. LIHEAP is a critical block in that foundation,” Mayor Walsh stated.

By providing these air purifiers, the company is both helping our small businesses and taking care of their customers and employees,” said Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh. “I thank HealthWay for once again stepping up for Syracuse and Central New York.”

Thank you to HealthWay, @centerstateceo, @downtownsyracuse, Onondaga County, @intellipure, and the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce for partnering with the City of Syracuse to help get clean air technology into local businesses. Thank you also to the @onondagahisassn for providing the space to announce this great news.

Local government and community leaders came together to announce HealthWay's donation of 29 compact, Intellipure air purification systems to 18 small businesses to help improve the air quality in each indoor space. The medical-grade air purifiers can capture and permanently remove viral and bacterial air particles smaller than the COVID-19 virus. Businesses and their employees will be able to operate in a more safe way and customers can have more of a peace of mind.
